- Supporting production in order to minimize any down time within the day to day running of the plant. Identification the root causes of poor quality / scrap / rework, target and introduce projects to make improvements applying TQM tools- Continuous Improvement projects implementation, focusing on LEAN production processes- Ensuring that processes are properly documented and validated to world class standards, and that they are safe and effective.- Supporting vertical integration and transfer projects from technical perspective- Responsible for change control and document management systems. Monitoring system performance and recommendation of improvements.- Strive to continuously improve the performance of team members by agreeing clear and challenging goals with set timescales; ensure adherence to performance review timescales- Responsible for trainings and team development- Playing an active role in new product developments to ensure that the design for manufacturing is fully implemented- Scheduling and organizing resource within the Engineering department on a daily/weekly basis.- Reporting performance across all of the above duties to the Operations Director and others as appropriate. - full responsibility for operational processes, costs,quality and delivery performance- applying lean processes into operations => value stream mapping (VSM), SMED, FMEA, 5S, leading to more flexible and optimal production and safe working environment- regular contact with customers, implementation the voice of customer to operational processes, customer audits- training and motivation of production people (200)

Slovakia

- start of Engineering entity in Slovakia in 2004- nowadays, providing technical support to production plants in:* project management (investment projects and improvement projects) => like moving productions from abroad to Slovakia, building new production areas, installation of infrastructure and production lines, mechanical and electrical start up of machinery* spare parts & maintenance management (preventive & predictive & TPM) => support for maintenance to reduce maintenance costs with TCO approach, supply of spare parts to Central European Bekaert plants (SVK, CZ, RUS, TUR)* assembly and production of machines and production lines for steel wire industry* revamping of 2nd hand equipment (upgrade to standards related to safety and productivity)* mechanical & electrical design* technical sourcing (commercial parts & drawing parts)- responsible for P&L, sales, budget, strategy of Engineering Department- sharing & implemetation of best technical practices from plants abroad to Slovak Plants

Teaching and research in electrical power engineering - high voltage, focused on non destructive methods of testing of insulation systems of high voltage transformers and rotating machines.
