In his senior year in high school, Rigo was entrusted to lead 160+ cadets in the Army J.R.O.T.C. program as the Battalion Commander. He was the highest ranking Hispanic officer that the program had ever witnessed. With many awards and achievements collected throughout his high school years... He even had the privilege to be commended by Congressman Adam Putnam upon graduation for his commitment to self-discipline, dedication and determination in High School. He has also provided over 900 hours of community service!He turned down a full-ride-scholarship at West Point Academy in order to continue his pursuit in the insurance Industry, which he says has been the best decision of his life. However, he does hold an Associate in Arts and a degree in Business Administration, has Property & Casualty as well as the Life, Health & Annuities licenses for his home state of Florida, and often continues to further his education by taking continued education courses throughout the years.
