I am a Creative Graphic Designer and I have been creating design work since 2002. At that time it was simply a hobby; by using social Internet forums as a place to learn and create for my fellow members of the community. I soon realised that this was more than just a hobby and something that I felt incredibly passionate about. I knew from that moment that this was the career path I hungered for.With eyes set on my goal, I successfully began my journey by signing up to a National Diploma: Graphic Design Media course. After 2 years I achieved the highest grade possible. However I needed to expand my knowledge and creativity and so higher education was clearly the next step. I furthered my journey by studying a Degree in BA (Hons) in Art & Design: Graphic Media, where creativity met no bounds.After achieving my Degree I began my design career at TCMC Creative and worked at this agency for two and a half years. Within my time there I quickly moved up the ranks from Junior to Senior Designer. With this position I was responsible with handling many different tasks, including: full brand management, logo design, web design, corporate literature, print & digital design, shop & vehicle signage (interior & exterior both design and production) and so forth. With all the skills and knowledge that I gained from TCMC, I took the plunge to become freelance. This path allowed me to expand my skills further by working on projects from initial proposal meetings to the end product. Freelancing gave me the option to express myself freely within the client’s budget and their operational size. Whilst freelancing, an opportunity to work within the packaging artwork industry became apparent.
