During my long term internship at SHM Architects I took on the role of a technician, supporting projects in every stage of project development. I helped with project management, programming and analysis, planning and design, and development and documentation. During my time I attended site visits, was in client meetings, met with consultants and was exposed to almost every part of the design process. During the summer I also participated in the summer intern project where I designed my own project for a coworker who acted as my project. During my time I was able to experience the professional field of architecture in more ways then I hoped.
