As someone who was raised by two micro-entrepreneurs, the highs and lows of being a small business owner are something I hold close to my heart. For this reason, I have always felt a strong calling to the field of marketing, specifically with the goal of helping others achieve their dreams in the pursuit of self-employment. This past December I graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in marketing, and have been working as a marketing analytics intern for TAGNW. I have always worked while in school which has developed me into a hard-working individual, proficient in time-management and organizational skills. I grew up in Bellingham, WA and have always been inspired by the professional community here. Bellingham is host to a myriad of small businesses, and that number is always growing. Being raised in a community that shows such strong support for small businesses has inspired in me a strong drive to be able to give hard-working people the tools they need to achieve their personal and professional goals.
