I will design, plan, and lead the innovative new Fort Wayne Community Schools program at Electric Works. Electric Works is a groundbreaking mixed-use transformation of our historic General Electric campus. Program opening in August 2022.

Lead learner at the flagship school of the New Tech Network. As Principal, I facilitate:- Develop and grow school vision and mission.- Collaborating with district leaders and other school leaders on NVUSD initiatives.- Coordinate and develop professional learning plan with leadership team.- Build and manage school budget.- Develop alignment between school and key stakeholders (NVUSD, New Tech Network, NapaLearns)- Implement and develop College and Career Readiness program.- Board member of Friends of New Tech, non-profit entity to support school needs.- Coordinate staffing and build master schedule.- Grow partnership with Napa Valley College.- Coordinate performance-based assessment.- Manage Center for Excellence, school-based professional development program.- Support the growth of site-based professional learning communities.- Align communications with key stakeholders in local, state, and national markets.

As Assistant Principal of New Technology High School, I facilitated, as well as more, the following:- Monitor and manage schoolwide PBIS/BEST behavior system.- Managed school site facilities.- Developed comprehensive safety and emergency plan.- Grew College and Career Readiness program through Naviance.- Built recruitment, enrollment, and student retention numbers.- Monitored and developed staff goal setting.- Instituted staff adjunct program.- Worked with Penguin Parent Club to expand family involvement.- Coordinated various assessment programs.- Worked with student leadership to grow student voice and choice.- Developed professional learning to build project and problem-based learning.

I teach government, AP government, economics, and music productions at a cutting edge project-based learning school. New Tech Academy is focused on creating relevant, rigorous, relationship-based learning opportunities for students. In my role, I have been able to:Facilitated wall-to-wall project-based learning curriculum in geography, government, and economics courses to promote 21st-Century skills.Implemented data-based instructional strategies using authentic assessment and reflection practices with students to improve remediation practices in Algebra and English.Created and delivered professional development plan for teachers based upon NTN School Success Rubric.Developed Career & College Readiness program to promote graduate enrollment rate and preparedness.Collaborated with various local companies and organizations to build rigor and relevance in project development.

Organized and ran the first ever Edcamp in Northeast Indiana in 2013. Created relationships with educators and organizations from the region and across the nation.
