I currently serve as the national Coordinator of Clinical Standards for Vibrant Emotional Health, working within 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline programming. I started my professional career in the field of suicide prevention seven years ago with a suicide prevention campaign, "13 Reasons Why NOT", aimed at reducing suicide risk and increasing outreach among high school students. I was also selected as the spokesperson for Netflix's social media campaign "Tell Them," which strived to bring lived experience stories of suicide to major media platforms. My work within the mental health field has been featured on NPR, Nightline, The Washington Post, and other news sources worldwide. I received my bachelor's in psychology from Oakland University, where I focused my research on suicide prevention, human development, and the effects of childhood trauma. I am passionate about program development, clinical policy writing, and training. My goal is to impact the mental health field by advocating for inclusion of lived experience, creating a system that embodies those we serve.
