I graduated from DePaul University in June 2024 with a Bachelors in Accounting. I also was a 4 year member of the DePaul University softball team. I have hopes of entering the field of Culinary by going to back to school in the near future, until then I am building my knowledge of the industry by working in the field. Although I am still working on starting my culinary experience in Chicago, I am currently working as a restaurant supervisor for City Cruise Experiences by Hornblower. This is located on Chicago's Navy Pier. I work on the Chicago Elite and The Spirit of Navy Pier. The Chicago Elite is a private yacht where many high-end corporations host their company "get aways" which can range to 150 individuals cruising with a staff of 10-12 working said cruises. We have also host parties for individuals visiting Chicago, such as Shaquille O'neal (aka DJ Desial) before he preformed at lalapalooza in July of 2023. As for the Spirit of Navy Pier, we mainly work with individual dining experiences of 200+ cruising with a staff of 18+ working said cruises. As a student-athlete I had to balance 20+ hours a week of practices, travel, and competition, while attending classes and completing my studies. During my time at DePaul I earned 8 Dean's list honors, Athletic Director Honor Roll honors for every quarter attended, and 3 Big East All-Academic Team honors. My background in Division 1 athletics allows me to have an enhanced skill set in leadership, communication, time management, team-working skills, and problem solving that can all be demonstrated in the workforce. My passion for establishing relationships with a multitude of groups shows that I am a great leader and helps to advance and inspire not only me but also others.When I am not growing my education or working, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, going on walks with my dog, cooking, art, trying new foods, and traveling. I love exploring and learning something new every day!
