-Implemented environmental training and outreach programs for the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department-Responsible for the City of Dallas’ recycling initiative, facilitated the training of over 1,500 employees in recycling and posted 332 recycling instructions in facilities and parks-Provided audits of the EPA Consent Decree, and performed tasks that focused on monitoring and meeting annual mandates for yard waste, litter and floatable, pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers, pet waste, general pollution and illicit discharges-Compliance monitoring, inspection, auditing (water/air quality/climate)-Investigation, remediation, mitigation (water/soil/air/climate)-Hazardous/non-hazardous waste management-Emission inventory development and reporting-Compliance program development-Preparation of technical reports and documentation for audits and support of the environmental management system

-Supervised 16 staff including recreation assistants, recreation specialists, part-time staff, summer camp counselors, and custodians-Supervised programs for fitness/wellness operations, internal facility events, and youth camps-Created and managed contracts for approved vendors -Managed 5 accounts with over 700 participants in maintaining checks and balances, rolling up payments, rolling over participants each month/quarter, and communicating amounts owed-Created quarterly spending plans while adhering to budget restrictions

-Educated and informed visitors about the significance of the resources in the park, the laws, rules, and regulations-Lead interpretive programs for all ages by presenting on Leave No Trace principles and risks in the park-Performed data collection, research, and statistical analyses of nuisance species populations using GIS -Presented safety talks to coworkers weekly-Created Standard Operating Procedures for current and future employees -Participated in emergency situations such as extinguishing boat fires, radioing dispatch for visitors in crises, and helping families in a panic to stay calm and collected
