Growing up I worked several labor-intensive jobs, from construction work to farm work. It seems like I came to enjoy each of them.In college I set out to study engineering, but quickly learning that ninety percent of engineering jobs were sitting in a desk and I knew that engineering was probably not for me. Out of now where, I landed a job as a delivery driver for Freightliner of Idaho (Warner Truck Center). Everything changed when I was introduced to the business aspect of the job. Customer satisfaction, organization and team work. As we planed together and organized we were able to set up a million dollar warehouse. I learned so much from my boss and coworkers to never settle but to look for change and organization. In a couple of months upon starting opportunities arose, and I moved up to become one of the counter salesmen. Now I love being a part of a winning counter team. We have watched as our long hours of hard work has payed off. I believe that our teamwork is what made our company become one of the best truck dealerships in Idaho. Customers always come first. Weekly planning and our sacrifice of time enables us to continue to rise and never stop. It’s the growth in the company that makes me love what I do. I enjoy making improvements and I have seen how one person can make or brake a team. Excel has enabled me to better my own processes of which I used daily. With a couple of V and H look-ups and conditional formatting you would be surprised what you can do with hundreds of thousands of parts. I know how to motivate those around me and make smart decisions. I have experience in setting up a parts warehouse, learning how to find, communicate, and ship products to and from a given location.The more involved in business I get, the more I have the desire to learn and better my own skills.
