My name is Riley Morrow and I am a Senior at Arizona State University where I am studying financial planning. My curiosity in finances started at a young age when I realized how crucial setting aside money and investing is. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck the country, my desire to pursue financial planning intensified greatly after seeing many people struggling without a job. In high-school, I managed a tanning salon where my interest in finances expanded even more. Tracking sales and reporting the salons finances to corporate gave me an excellent look at some aspects of finances from a business perspective. From this experience, I learned a lot about communication, planning and efficiency in running a business. In my junior year of high school I was awarded the Clarkson University High School Leadership Award and I also handled my high school classes finances being class treasurer junior and senior year. I currently resides in Albany, New York while studying at Arizona State University and interning at Northwestern Mutual.
