About Riley Bruce

I have been working in design verification for graphics products at Intel for 4 years. In that time, I have moved from IP to SoC verification. I have worked on Verilog compiler support and performance. As I moved to SoC, I expanded the tools I work on and started making an impact on verification methodology. I enjoy finding the best and most efficient ways to solve problems and engaging in ongoing learning to maintain expertise in my field.Outside of work, I have enjoyed learning how to make electronic music for the last three years. I participate in the local music community in Sacramento often. I love to play soccer on Sundays, and lift and run during the week.

The most recent project I completed was integrating a new library for the DNP3 communications protocol. That involved writing a program in C++ which could take commands and translate them to the new library from the main python application.

    My main focus in this internship was to gain applicable experience in the electrical engineering field. My job in this project was to use Revit to create a final Revit file that would represent the work being done at Grande Cheese. I was part of a team and coordinated with team members, Overland architects, and Grande Cheese representatives to complete this aspect of the project. Throughout this project, I was exposed to new ideas including business ethics, team coordination, and Revit drawings. Overall, I gained a great deal of experience for the amount of time I had at Staff Electric and gained skills in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
