As a project engineer, I work on designing and installing packaging systems from multiple different angles. Starting with conceptual design and an iterative ACAD drawing process, I work with the client to shape the packaging line and define the criteria for the product. Starting with conceptual design and an iterative ACAD drawing process, I work with the client to shape the packaging line and define the criteria for the product. Simultaneously, I generate specification documents for equipment procurement and work directly with manufacturers and distributors to secure the equipment. Once the design phase is near completion, I create a scope of work detailing the process for installation of the new system. During the installation phase of a project, I work at the client's site to integrate the packaging system with multiple contractors. My role during this phase is Construction Management, and I interface between the client and the Design Group team to ensure the project is built within budget and to specification. Show less

- Worked closely with the mechanical engineers at the firm, learned about multiple aspects of mining plant design- Performed calculations to determine pump head for various applications, such as sizing actual pumps for future plant use- Wrote multiple specification and data sheets for plant equipment detailing equipment function and capabilities- Spoke with vendors and procured bids for equipment for feasibility studies
