I adjudicated over 50 cases at the reprimand or probationary level and provided support during difficult conversations. I assisted in helping students understand both the nature of the conduct violation as well as the impacts to themselves, those around them, as well as the community. In addition, I inquired about students’ values and the relationship between those values with their actions. I also aided in students in identifying and explaining alternative actions that could have been taken in the situation. I assessed students in the previous 3 categories (impact, values, and alternative actions) to better tailor sanctions and conditions of sanctions to the students’ current level of development.I implemented a remote conduct experience during the pandemic

Supervised 12 Peer Counselors, 10 residence halls, and 380 students. I Implemented Community Development in residence halls in coordination with other campus departments and off campus partners. I created and facilitated training for all new and returning Peer Counselors after summer and winter breaks. I participated in Incident Report and Students of Concern team meetings each week and contacted students as discussed to ensure their success in the coming week. I managed an individual caseload of students requiring additional support as well. I also oversaw a budget of $1400 per semester and was the primary purchaser of all items used throughout the semester. I performed on call responsibilities that included responding to student crises and campus emergencies. In addition, I led two first-year orientation Diversity and Justice workshops.
