Captain Rina M. Hernandez is a Victims’ Counsel in the Victims’ Counsel Division. She is currently assigned to Minot Air Force Base, ND, and also provides victims’ legal counsel at Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND. In this role she is detailed to represent victims of crimes before military courts-martial as well as in administrative and civil legal matters. Capt Hernandez received a direct commission as an Air Force judge advocate and entered active duty in January 2022. During law school, she competed in mediation competitions. Her law degree included a concentration in Advocacy, and she interned at the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program. Capt Hernandez is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.

The Fiver Children's Foundation is a comprehensive youth development organization that makes a 10-year commitment to children from underserved communities throughout New York City and Central New York. Fiver empowers children to make ethical and healthy decisions, to become engaged citizens, and to succeed in school, careers, and life. The Family Engagement Specialist runs the Family Engagement Program, which provides the structure and support for meaningful, productive, communication and interaction between Fiver students, families and the communities that foster their growth and development. The Family Engagement Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing and facilitating monthly parent workshops, developing and facilitating monthly family engagement events, and maintaining effective communication with family units.

CEFASA is a non-profit institution founded by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1963. The reason for CEFASA's existence, at the time of its foundation, consisted of two missions: to work with the Dominican agrarian workers and to offer courses of social formation.The Human Rights and Labor Rights Intern project includes working with agrarian workers, working with other community organizations (neighbors' boards, women's organizations, migrant organizations and youth groups), providing support for cases of human rights and labor rights, calculating employment benefits, providing support for documentation processes, assisting with technical training and creative workshops for children, and other tasks.

Future Leaders in Action is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to cultivate leaders, strengthen nonprofits and support youth by advancing skills for success, promoting public health, providing enrichment activities, and protecting the environment. FLIA hires fellows to work with their youth-focused partners to implement and evaluate a program to advance the partner's mission in areas of education, public health, social welfare, economic opportunity and/or environmental sustainability. The FLIA fellow assigned to Fiver Children's Foundation was responsible for: the completion of daily and weekly FLIA-specific activities on Slack, attending weekly one-on-one call, fundraising at least $500 for their fellowship project, submitting monthly and final expense reports, submitting 3 blog posts and 1 video blog, submitting final program reports, and completing all expectations for partner organization (Family Engagement Project).

Responsibilities as Student Worker at Fordham Law School's Law Clinic included: front desk coverage, client intakes, delivering documents to court, setting up web-based recording equipment for simulations, assisting legal assistants and law professors, document translations and other administrative needs.
