In 2003 I received my masters in Social Science Informatics (AI) from the University of Amsterdam. After this I worked as a PhD researcher at the University of Tilburg on computational linguistics technology in adaptive language learning tools. Next, I founded EDIA, an eLearning startup where together with 3 co-founders we turned this research into actual products for language learning, which we sold to the biggest publishers in The Netherlands and Belgium.Beginning of 2015 I joined WCC Smart Search and Match as solution architect for the global employment market. Over the next 8 years at WCC I was Technical Product Manager, VP of Technology and Solutions, managed the business development team for the Employment Market, managed the overall BU Employment and was Head of Product for B2G and B2B employment products. Since October 2023 I am working as the new Director of Business at SkillLab, a fast growing and highly innovative scale-up that delivers skills-first solutions to private and public employment services.
