Currento SOC Program Lead at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA/OCIO/CPOC/CSID/CDOD) Cyber Team, to manage culturally diverse SOC branches focused on delivering solutions that balance customer requirements, while achieving organizational goals and objectives.o Responsible for coordinating Tier 3 support with project managers, Software Engineers, Networking, and Service Center Operations regarding all matters related to the technical component of vulnerability management, creating… Show more o SOC Program Lead at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA/OCIO/CPOC/CSID/CDOD) Cyber Team, to manage culturally diverse SOC branches focused on delivering solutions that balance customer requirements, while achieving organizational goals and objectives.o Responsible for coordinating Tier 3 support with project managers, Software Engineers, Networking, and Service Center Operations regarding all matters related to the technical component of vulnerability management, creating and maintaining service transition process documentation to ensure all operational teams and service partners are aware, prepared, and capable of supporting all new services introduced into the live environment. o Lead meetings with the goal of auditing the technical readiness of teams to ensure all knowledge transfer, knowledge articles, infrastructure/network diagrams, monitoring and all documentation are complete, accurate and reviewed/approved by team leads. o Making SOC improvements by bringing innovation and automation to our tools and security processes by analyzing current state of technology as it relates to security attributes. o Responsible for the creation of standard operating procedures, and guidelines for 140 engineers of various teams: Scanning Vulnerability Assessment, Firewall Management, EndPoint Detection, and Pentest teams. Toolsets: Tenable.io, Cohesity, Nagios, Splunk, Tanium, and Penterao Make recommendations on security services that were consolidated from inherited solutions.o Organize and lead engineering stand ups with Security SMEs. o Develop a weekly report using OneNote for all engineers’ weekly accomplishments and planned activities. o Able to develop practical and creative solutions to most complex problems, fully addressing systems, rules, procedures, and quality controls. o Driving improvements by continually improving Service Management with Remedy and ServiceNow reporting on open, in progress and closed request tickets.
