Chief Product Officer
CurrentBindable is the insurance technology leader for alternative distribution. Bindable’s proprietary platform brings together software, a digital front-end, and a full suite of support services to offer flexible, market-ready solutions that connect insurance providers and trusted brands to the right consumers.Strategy *Own strategic and tactical roadmap, with near term (~6 months) and long term (36 month) paths, built around product pillars and a “North Star.” *Build the Product team from the ground up, accounting for Product Management, Product Design, Relationship Management, Platform Management, Product Marketing, QA, and Customer Support functions. *Accountable for standardizing pricing and scaling product delivery to meet revenue and profitability targets.Execution *Develop governance for roadmap prioritization *Develop new talent from the inside, e.g. launching a “Product Bootcamp” to onboard product managers functioning within other areas of the business, e.g. Insurance Agency team, in a low cost and scalable methodology. *Establish discipline around scope and delivery target dates.*Create balance between client driven product enhancements and strategic improvements.Leadership *Hands on Product Manager for R&D initiatives, with a top-to-bottom, hands on approach to building the business. *Drive executive alignment on the metrics on which to focus in a challenging market environment, leveraging past experience in two start-ups with successful exits.P&L *Accountable for SaaS margin of 80% through the product roadmap and driving efficiencies/scale. *Accountable for driving profitable growth through the product roadmap, recalibrated pricing, and client facing sales enablement.
