Leading a R & D project related to the development of a new filling machine for bulk filling of tea into paper sacks. My responsibilities as the Project Engineer involves but is not limited to the following:• Finding new and able vendors for the project.• Coordinating with all the vendors such as Fabricators, Electrical & Pneumatic parts suppliers, Automation agencies and the Machine designer.• Coordinating with the team members in planning and development of the product.• Responsible for the branding of the product.• Creating marketing and promotional strategies for the product launch.• Working closely with external partners such as animators, designing agencies for developing the promotional tools for the product.• Providing regular project status and progress reports to the COO.

• Controlling the purchase and supply of all the materials required in the tea gardens and factories. • Providing assistance in price negotiations and finalization of terms of purchase.• Maintaining records of inventory ordered and received. • Developing stronger relationships with suppliers. • Review all quotations received from suppliers to achieve ‘best price/best quality’ purchasing and obtain optimum price-quality balance.• Facilitate timely payments of bills by coordinating with the finance department.• Associated with the development of the purchase module of ERP for B & A Packaging India Ltd
