Vendor Management• Added 7 new vendors after market research for procurement of drugs, diagnostics, bedding, and clothing items that reduced cost.• Increased tender participation by 50% to increase vendor engagement and ensured regular business to all the vendors.Marketing• Managed a team of 3 people who traveled to District Head Quarter Hospitals in different districts of Odisha and carried out marketing activities by engaging with the staff of the hospitals in the purchase, quality, and product-related departments. • Planned the different marketing activities to be carried out at the beginning of every month and allocated the required budget. For example, doctor and lab technician visits and demonstrations led to greater acceptability of the brands of the new vendors.• Increased the spending in marketing activities like doctor visits, purchase committee visits, and distribution of free samples by 10% Y-O-Y which resulted in a growing company brand image.People Management• Responsible for all performance management activities, including supervision, goal setting, ongoing performance communication, employee engagement, development, review, and mentoring.• Formulated policies for monitoring the same like weekly work tracking, performance mapping, and finding areas of improvement.• Supervised the new hires by taking note of their weekly activities, tracking their performances and learnings, training them in managing customer complaints and carrying out marketing activities, and helping them settle down in the company’s work culture.Customer Service• Reduced customer complaints settlement time by 50% by maintaining a service log and rewarding for settling complaints in time. • Formulated a dedicated team of 3 people to look after Customer Service and allocated different districts to them to look after which led to a clear division of responsibility and tracking of the negligence of duty.

New Product Development• Responsible for coordinating between Design Team and Production Team for carrying out the feasibility study of manufacturing new ICV vehicles in the existing production line of HCV vehicles and deciding on ways to accommodate new ICVs on existing line.• Responsible for carrying out simulations in CATIA to study the assembly process of different parts of the trucks virtually.• Carrying out the ergonomics study of the assembly of different parts like exhaust, engine, brakes, etc. during the assembly process to finalize the different angles, paths, and procedures to be followed by the operator during the assembly of parts to the trucks.• Successfully carried out the assembly simulation project for the new trucks in the existing line with the help of CATIA, which helped the company save millions of dollars, that would have been lost in establishing a new assembly line. Manufacturing Planning• Planning the different tools required for assembling the parts of the truck as per the requirement of torque and angle of assembly. For HCV planning was done when demand aroused from the production team. For the new ICV, planning was done for the entire vehicle after a discussion with the Design and Production Team after the finalization of torque and angle of assembly requirements.• Planning the stations for assembling different parts of the new variants of trucks in the existing assembly line.• Planned around 17 fixtures required to hold the parts of the truck after carrying out discussions with the manufacturing team.• Coordinating with vendors for the supply of Tools as demanded within 30 days from the placement of the order.Process Improvement• Worked on implementing Kaizen on the existing line of production, hence improved the efficiency of performance by 95%.• Carrying out departmental audits for the CME department to generate monthly reports regarding the status of different projects.
