Live Grit Soars is a non-profit in Chicago that takes underprivileged children and helps them learn leadership and life skills by training and racing in triathlons. Live Grit Soars prides itself on being no cost to the children, and making sure that the kids needs are met.

Live Grit was a Triathlon store and training facility in the West Loop of Chicago servicing triathletes of all levels. Live Grit was famous for its First Timers Program with the Chicago Triathlon, creating 500+ new triathletes each year.

I was both a triathlon coach and a marathon coach for several years, and volunteered for many years before and after.
