I developed volunteer position descriptions, intake processes, recruitment strategies, training, recognition, and re-engagement procedures for the department, which previously did not work with community volunteers. I built relationships with community partners (including the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington and Seattle Works) to recruit volunteers for our organization. While wearing my Program Quality hat, I led department-wide effort to expand YPQA participation to staff in all programs. I trained staff in the YPQI, and then conducted 20 YPQA observations and facilitated 20 goal setting meetings with managers and front-line staff.Additionally, I led a strategic-learning sub-committee comprised of staff and board members as part of our 2012 strategic planning effort. I also provided event-planning support to State of the Girl Summit attended by 75 policy makers, academics, thought leaders, youth workers, and business leaders. Show less
