I am a climate enthusiast with 7+ years of professional experience across multiple sectors playing a variety of roles in the US and India. I am currently a Program Officer with Sequoia Climate Foundation. I manage philanthropic investments for driving systemic changes necessary to combat climate change. My work focuses on climate action in India and strongly aligns with my strong belief in equity and dignity for everyone.I was an EDF Climate Corps Fellow for 2022, where I devised a roadmap for SunPower Corporation to decarbonise its logistics through solar-powered heavy duty electric trucks across their US operations. I was awarded the EDF Business Case award for the year 2022 for the high likelihood of my recommendations getting implemented. Recently, I have been working with Credit Agricole CIB for defining business models for Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) in North America.I recently graduated with an MPA in Energy Environment and Data Analytics from SIPA, Columbia University. Through my graduate education, I have developed skills in econometrics, project finance modeling, systems and incentive design, development economics, human-centric design, and negotiations. I supported Professor Wolfram Schlenker (SIPA, Columbia University) on global trade-driven emissions and linkages between climate change and global agriculture yields. I have previously worked for Dr. Tom Moerenhout (Center on Global Energy Policy) on power sector reforms in Sub-Saharan Africa, EV manufacturing and adoption landscape, and fossil fuel subsidies. During my earlier stint in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India, I worked with the bureaucratic leadership to improve the health outcomes for the 220 million population through systems strengthening and private sector engagement.I am an engineer (IIT Kanpur, batch of 2016) and have been previously associated with India Health Action Trust, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, University of Manitoba, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and OLA Cabs.

He recommended SunPower to own heavy-duty electric trucks supported by solar-powered DC fast chargers and a technology partner. • Multi-load delivery: Rishabh explored and ascertained an alternative pathway to decarbonize by delivering multiple loads in a single trip through optimized packaging and route optimization.Rishabh’s roadmap has laid exact next steps for SunPower. Overall, recommended solutions could reduce 2,260 MT of emissions (18% of overall Scope 3 emissions) simultaneously saving $1.44 million in costs every year. -
