I am skilled at mechanical equipment design specifically in the automotive and the bulk material handling sectors, I worked hard at developing new concepts and designing and creating design calculations for Chain conveyors, Screw conveyors, paddle mixers, and Bucket elevators. I have also worked on the 2D and 3D designing of these items, releasing technical datasheets for the procurement of drive units, design of expansion bellows, and working on the structural analysis of platforms, supports and other safety based designing. capable of handling installation site problems, creating quick solutions and effective and safe modifications. Being very inquisitive in nature I dabbled in the research of sustainability and worked on the database creation of a B2B website for sustainable products.I have worked extensively on FEA software platforms, predominantly LS-Dyna, to carry out vehicle to pedestrian crash analysis simulations. Identified the injury mechanics by using the front impact and side pole impact regulations. Based on two speed factors I modified and optimised the rear structures of the vehicle to reduce the risk of pedestrian fatality and injury, by using high density enegry absorbent foams and slight geometrical modifications. In addition, I also worked on a number of group projects and individual assignments that supported my skill development in the the automotive field. I worked and familiarized myself with control systems by working on a very thorough assignment involving PID controllers and singnal control. As a group we worked on the design and optimisation of a 1.2 l, 4 cylinder engine. I also optimised vehicle crash structures for different materials and analysed the stresses on vehicle gearbox housings. We also designed an electronic parking/ auxiliary braking system for an 18 tonne truck using the ECE regulations. I studied the detailed functioning of tribology in engines, including the layout of turbochargers and the ideal response situation. I learned about engine materials, fatigue testing and firction reduction for multi cylinder engines, as well as the the effect of different fuels and effects of lubrication. During my bachelors degree I, along with a few of my classmates, founded our university formula student team, we designed and built the car, to participate in formula bharat 2017. I worked on the chassis design, but more importantly I headed the powertrain division where we designed a prototype electronic gear shifter. As a group we redesigned a treadle pump for the villages of maharashtra, to make it more efficient.
