CurrentRole - R&D in GPS-denied visual navigation for autonomous UAVs.Currently working on the following:- Exploring different methods to improve GPS-denied visual-inertial odometry for long distance/ low light missions without using LIDARs.- Terrain-relative navigation and relocalization- VIO initialisation strategies and dynamic in-flight initialisation- Fusion of different sensor modalities for localisation, formulating factor graphs and writing new GTSAM factors- Localization strategies for precision takeoff and landing- Multimodal navigation (EO + thermal)
