Our program uses computer vision to analyze old circuit schematics from electronic waste and suggests ways to reuse old PCB boards or circuit components into new projects. The motivation behind this project is to promote circular consumerism and reduce the amount of electronics waste in the tech industry. I worked with Jasmine Lu under professor Pedro Lopes at the Human Computer Interaction lab at the University of Chicago's Department of Computer Science. -
