A native of Connecticut, Angelo DiMatteo worked for several brokers before starting DIB. He spent time with Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, in addition to a top national broker and a smaller “main street” organization. Throughout his tenure, his focus has never wavered. Angelo addresses the needs of clients and meets their expectations with informed, honest advice and world class service—all at a competitive fee.Angelo’s thorough approach and extensive experience allows him to help his clients analyze their total cost of risk. His goal is to manage reserves and close claims as soon as possible in order to effectively manage a client’s renewal. The most important goal is reviewing a client’s operation and providing the coverage that is required for any potential liabilities. In addition to his extensive property & casualty experience, Angelo spent more than a decade in the healthcare industry, including nine years with Oxford Health Plans where he managed a $40-million dollar book of business with 11,000-plus members. His outstanding service has garnered him several performance awards.
