ROLE SUMMARY:My role involves supporting the strategical goals with technical roadmaps as well as feeding valuable technical information back to the strategic planning. Working with Engineering Managers to drive future architecture designs and ensuring that the architectural blueprints are adopted as part of the development cycle.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Participating in the Architecture Review Board to ensure any proposed designs are discussed to ensure due diligence and impact assessments are performed.• Creating reusable architectural blueprints that can be utilised across the product portfolio.• Suggesting potential architectural improvements to current products, working with architecture function and engineering.• Ensuring alignment of design work with the Principal Architect or the Chief Architect, working with them to ensure the design components fit within the overall architecture strategy.• Working with other architects from other teams to share knowledge and re-use design components wherever possible.• Presenting proof of concepts for new ideas which may contribute to ongoing roadmap activities within the architecture team.• Leading transformation initiatives that will transform the current monolith architecture into a SAAS cloud service-oriented solution.• Doing technical analysis on product roadmap items and defining all non- functional requirements.
