istutter.center / tartamudez.center's mission is empowering people who stutter (PWS) and their role within society. It is a for-profit social impact company, composed of a multidisciplinary and highly experienced team that provides: 1) online consultations to people who stutter from all ages - via an internally developed platform that tracks PWS progresses, brings them closer to their Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) and provides useful resources; 2) specialised training to SLPs, who wish to deepen their knowledge and/ or pursue their careers in the field. The company engages in several awareness-raising and advocacy activities - namely, organising conferences and contributing to academic research - that aim at tackling harmful and ungrounded prejudices that continue to affect PWS, such as discriminatory recruitment policies.
