I am a Governance, Strategy and Change Management professional and experienced Company Director. I have extensive experience in the financial services industry having worked in a number of key senior roles within Marsh & McLennan subsidiary, Mercer. Over the past 20 years I have advised Boards on governance, strategy and regulatory change grounded in the practical experience I gained serving on various Boards. I have had a diversified career beginning as a lawyer, moving to consulting and client management, managing people and micro-businesses in Mercer, to being on the Mercer Boards for 15 years. I have been exposed to an array of multi-faceted issues and disciplines across a variety of organisations and industries.Throughout my career I have been a passionate advocate for governance excellence in superannuation funds, financial services and not-for-profit. I approach new ventures with enthusiasm, thoughtful planning and an optimism that is infectious. I am naturally curious and inquisitive, uncertainty and change keep me motivated but I will always seek to find a practical way forward. A strong sense of fairness and equality is something that drives me and I will work hard to engender a culture that upholds these values.I have Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Monash University and I am a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
