I am an innovative, energetic young professional with a passion for working with people to improve their lives. I have been involved in several organizations, working with diverse economic and age levels. I served as a co-president for a leadership and service organization, Students Today Leaders Forever. In college I studied abroad in both London, England, and Avila, Spain, gaining cultural perspectives and acquiring Spanish language skills.I am a dedicated, forward-thinking worker with a collaborative leadership style. My passions are creating programs for organizations and collaborating with other people to establish the most effective execution of a task. I have created programs for Vacation Bible School, SmartGirls program for the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal, and for a summer camp at Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan. I have excellent written and oral communication, and I am a creative problem-solver. As a graduate of Illinois State Univeristy, I gained a BA in Human Development with minors in Spanish and Sociology. I have proficient experience in working with youth, diverse cultural and socioeconomical levels, and bilingual students. I have worked serving others in a customer service position and as an intern. My background consists of nonprofit work and education, and I wish to maintain a position that allows me to work with both those areas.I am looking forward to gaining new experiences in future opportunities!
