As the Director of the Franklin County Mentor Volunteer Program, I advocate for at-risk students in the school system. I report to my board as I work hand and hand with the school system.I am responsible for all the program’s day-to-day operations of a non-profit as well as recruiting, matching, and advocating for the students and our program. Some of my other responsibilities are for all Grant research, writing, maintenance, and compliance for our program.

As Executive Assistant of the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, I advocate for business owners and employers in the community. I organize and oversee a range of services and events for members as well as market and promote the growth of industries in Franklin County. I use my strong community and social services professional skills as I promote the Chamber and its members in the community.

As the Program Coordinator for the Ark Family Preservation Center I did family observations as well as maintained donor information.The Ark Family Preservation Center was established so that families could visit in a nice setting to help the family heal. I did supervised family observations with children and their parents for weekly visits with children in foster care or court-mandated family visits

As the Director with the Franklin County Mentor Volunteer Program I advocated for at risk students in the school system. I reported to my board as I worked hand and hand with the school system. I was the only employee so I was responsible for all of the programs day to day operations of a non-profit as well as recruiting, matching and advocating for the students and program. I increased revenues by 62% over my 5 years with the program with an increase of 80% in mentors serving students.At the time I was the director I was responsible for all Grant research, writing, maintenance and compliance for the program.

As the Event Planner for the City of Carnesville I coordinated the city events to promote the city and downtown area. In the time that I worked with the city of Carnesville I developed, implemented and maintained the budgets for all the events. I was responsible for recruiting of sponsors and volunteers for events as well as the promotional aspects of the events.
