Named to health management initiatives project team, which made recommendations to senior leadership to drive trend costs down and change behavior. Established, developed lists of interventions and programs, as well as determined project appropriate for implementation. o Created and implemented education programs on back care, utilizing internal/external resources. Focused on injury prevention for associates and dependents. Worked closely with outside consultant to create materials and negotiated with EAP provider additional services at no additional cost.o Developed and ensured distribution educational program to logistics personnel enabling effective administering of programs that focused on new initiatives to provide a return to work program for non-occupational injuries in this high risk area.o Created and shared comprehensive analysis of past, existing and future health management initiatives for company. Researched, created and delivered to executive management detailed Care Management Matrix.o Developed and implemented pilot program for to integrate disability management programs in partnership with Hartford Insurance. Focused on providing return to work program for non-occupational injuries in same manner company provided temporary alternative duty program for work-related injuries. o Created draft Diabetes Incentive program designed to manage conditions more effectively while controlling employer’s escalating costs of insurance. Created tremendous possibilities for ROI. o Contributed to Health Management Initiatives Project, presenting five recommendations for future development of health and productivity initiatives to lower trend and change behavior.
