About Rita Lopes

In order to embrace a new challenge on corporate world, I started working at Eurosurfaces Portugal S.A. where I became part of the RnD department.In addition, I'm finishing the PhD in Sustainable Chemistry, a program involving three Portuguese universities: Universities of Aveiro, Porto and NOVA Lisbon. My PhD work was focused on the performance of fermentative processes under non-conventional conditions. For this, high pressures were applied to the yogurt fermentative process in order to improve the production process and promote novel characteristics to the final product. I have also scientific knowledge about other topics of chemistry and biotechnology.
