Co-led the launch of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for automated material handling. Conducted extensive research to transition the AMR from initial deployment to full operational capability within the plant using virtual map research and testing, optimizing warehouse parking/drop-off locations, facilitating workstation dispatching, and addressing in-house concerns with effective solutions. Replaced an outdated design that caused frequent customer concerns with a new pneumatic clamping system, resulting in improved machine efficiency and reduced part quality issues. Updated engineering drawings by performing numerous revisions on small parts within SolidWorks. Designed a new stackable torsion rod rack to enhance space optimization, durability, and functionality.Authored a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a new clinch nut machine, showcasing strong technical writing skills, and extensive machine knowledge. Created detailed documentation, including time cycle studies, operator and mechanic health and safety documents, process parameters, and Job Element Sheets, resulting in improved internal audit scores.Developed and implemented work instructions and workstation flows, enhancing product and process quality.
