The McMaster Women in Engineering Society (WIE) unites all woman-identifying students in Engineering, B.Tech, Computer Science, and iBioMed, empowering them through five core pillars: Outreach, Mentorship, Professional Development, Social Events, and EDI (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion). Our mission? To uplift and support students of all genders, fostering an inclusive, informed community for future allies and engineers alike.
Through our ambassador and mentorship programs, technical workshops, EDI events, and social gatherings, we create connections, boost confidence, and support student success. We’re proud to play a vital role in enhancing the Mac Eng experience, building friendships, networks, and resilience.
