iBioMed - McMaster University

The Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences (iBioMed) Program is the first program of its kind in Canada. The program fuses McMaster's top-ranked health sciences and engineering programs into a unique project-based learning experience. After a common first year, iBioMed students will enter either the Bachelor of Engineering and Biomedical Engineering (B.Eng.BME), or the Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in Health, Engineering Science and Entrepreneurship (B.H.Sc.) degree program. iBioMed students graduate ready to develop biomedical engineering solutions for real-world healthcare problems. Our alumni have gone on to study medicine, work as engineers, start businesses of their own and more.
