I’m an IT professional with a strong background as an ICT Administrator, specialising in maintaining and optimising critical networking infrastructure. I have expertise in diagnosing faults, working with various hardware and software, and managing communication systems such as PABXs, PSTNs, Fibre links, and wireless networks. In one of my previous roles, I was responsible for the migration from analogue communication to digital, in this instance, copper phone lines to fibre. I’ve hands on experience with this work, diagnosing faults, identifying lines, working with building diagrams and organising suitable replacements from start to finish whilst liaising with companies such as BT, Openreach, Cisco and more. Alongside this, to keep up with today’s digital needs, I’ve a vast experience installing wireless networking infrastructure, working with equipment from Cisco, TP-Link and Dell to name a few. Previous roles include being a Delivery Driver with Hermes, requiring organisational and IT skills, and as a Junior Educator at a leading UK mobile network, demonstrating exceptional team management and coordination. Working in both 1st and 2nd line IT roles, I have experience with all aspects of computing from customer support to server deployment. I have also Volunteered as a Community Member, contributing to first-level customer support with excellent communication skills.
