VOLTAS LIMITED, U.A.E. – April 2012 to Present Manager - Electrical• To understand Scope of work & study the Project documents such as Specifications, Drawings and other contract documents.• Verify the documents, raise RFI’s & accordingly incorporate the changes in design and timely inform site team for those engineering Changes.• Preparation of Submittal, Method Statement, Technical submittal as per Project Specification & contract documents.• Follow-up for materials at various stages of the project with Supplier/Manufacturers.• Ensure progress with respect to quality in stipulated period of time to meet the targets as per specification and drawings.• Co-ordinate with Main contractor to ensure work requirements in line with program in correct sequence through short, medium-term planning• To co-ordinate with other departments in house & also to co-ordinate with main contractor for area wise priorities• Keeping track of variations with respect to tender drawings & timely submission of the same to client/consultant.• Electrical cost control to ensure profit achievement and timely delivery of the project.• To assist QA/QC & Testing and commissioning with smooth flow of information related to EPC activities.

• To understand Scope of work & study the Project documents such as Specifications, Drawings and other contract documents.• Estimation related activities like sending enquiries to suppliers, obtaining Quotations, negotiation, preparing comparison tables for various items by studying the offer submitted by Suppliers technically as well as commercially.• Preparation of schedules such as Busbar, Cable, Light fixture, Wiring accessories Switchgear.• To prepare Cost estimate for all Electrical & ELV System as per specified format, preparing client BOQ for submission.• Preparation of Handing over documents to Project team.• Post Tender activities such as smooth flow of information to Project team of all documents, notify project team about Tender clarifications, inclusions, exclusions, Cost Estimate sheet, preferred Manufacturer complying to specification & cost point of view.

India

• To understand Scope of work & study of Specifications, Drawings.• Erection & Commissioning of Substation, Distribution Transformer, DB’s, Capacitor Bank, MCC’s, DG Set, Earthing System.• Installation of Point Wiring Lighting and Power, Containment etc.• Preparing of BOQ for various electrical items.• Control over foreman as well as labour to monitor their productivity, checks on construction methods, problem resolution
