I am currently an accounting major and finance minor at Rutgers University looking to get my start in the accounting/finance industries. Growing up I worked at my grandfather's store "Eastern Gifts" where I learned about small business management and problem-solving. By entering the accounting/finance industries, I aim to both apply and expand my skills in the context of larger businesses. To support this, even since high school I have immersed myself in a host of computational classes to ensure a strong analytical foundation, and personal/team development courses to ensure that I am both a good manager and team member. In addition, I strive to be part of the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of accounting/finance. Through participating in the Rutgers Enactus chapter, I've learned the variety of problems facing both people and businesses and the necessity of creativity and innovation in one's solutions. The adaptability born from being part of this organization and many like it is something I aim to sharpen whilst part of the accounting/finance industries to help businesses and the world around us.
