- Developed a highly scalable, reactive microservice for multi-channel communications (email, sms, whatsapp),integrated with various third party vendors using Kafka as messaging queue. Leveraged a reactive tech stack for efficient I/O and network operations, along with MongoDB, Redis, and locking mechanisms to handle upto 60k-65k communications per minute on current infra, improving delivery rates by 2X. Its key use cases include sending marketing campaigns, pre and post shipment journeys, tracking etc.◦ Automated the entire billing process across the marketing automation vertical, which previously required 60-70 man-hours, by implementing MongoDB aggregation pipelines, designing reporting and invoicing APIs, and scheduling automated jobs. This transformation significantly improved efficiency, reducing the billing cycle to D-1 days and lowering invoicing discrepancies by 20%, leading to more accurate and timely financial operations
