Imprint is Western Canada's largest undergraduate corporate branding conference. Imprint facilitates workshops and panels, engaging with over 70 delegates to enhance branding and marketing knowledge. As the Junior Representative, I assumed responsibilities within the logistics team, overseeing the organization of equipment and decorations for the conference. Furthermore, I spearheaded promotional efforts targeting first-year students at UBC, resulting in a substantial turnout not only at the conference but also in the highest number of first-year students applying to participate in the case competition this year. I learned firsthand the significance of collaboration and teamwork, fostered by our cohesive work culture. This collective effort was instrumental in our achievement of winning the Conference of the Year 2024 award at CUS Commerce Night.

Audit:- Assisted the audit team (Senior Auditor and Associate Auditor) in planning the audit timeline and the fieldwork. - Assisted in drafting the audit strategy and plan, and attended the kickoff meeting with the core assurance audit team and the tech assurance audit team. - Completed EGAs in the planning phase and held meetings with the client to understand the entity and its processes. - Circularised bank confirmations, receivables confirmations, and payables confirmations to relevant parties. - Performed summary of lease agreements and minutes of meetings with the board of directors and shareholders. - Performed subsequent testing on after-year-end bank statements (bank scanning to identify unusual transactions) and discussed with the client any queries. - Attended review meetings with the Manager and the Senior Auditor.Innovation:- Supported PwC’s inaugural cyber symposium by crafting MC speeches, enhancing gift bag ideas, managing guest logistics, handling networking and photography, contributing to a successful event with 100+ C-suite executives and international guest speakers.- Enhanced engagement in PwC Legal’s social media and cyberbullying training sessions by integrating interactive technologies, including activities and games, to actively involve participants.- Developed PowerPoint slide deck for PwC client’s facilitator training, leading to a two-day design thinking workshop on sustainability and business, which I co-facilitated with my Manager.

NAFCO aims to unite secondary school students in addressing prevalent issues within schools. During my tenure as national secretary/administrative assistant, NAFCO expanded to 100 members. In this role, I supervised the end-of-year reports authored by representatives from different colleges across five committees (health, gender, climate, arts, and holistic). Engaging with local political figures at events exposed me to policy-making and environmental challenges in Mauritius. This experience enhanced my ability to confidently articulate crucial issues and develop tangible solutions.
