As a dedicated behavioral health professional specializing in at-risk youth, I am passionate about driving positive change and fostering resilience in young lives. With over a year of in-field experience and a BS in Psychology/BA in Human Development from Washington State University, I have developed a deep understanding of the lack of resources accessibly to our vulnerable populations and the strategies needed to support them. In my role I focus on preserving placements for youth in the child welfare system as well as stabilizing at-risk-youth who are navigating through loss, trauma, adversity and lack of support. By collaborating with the Department of Child Safety, guardians, families, natural supports, case managers, clinicians and the youth themselves, I am able to help identify, solidify and execute proper plans for skills training and stability. I currently attend Arizona State University and am pursuing my Master of Social Work degree in order to further my knowledge and understanding of how our vulnerable populations can be provided with the care and resources they need. I am always eager to connect with like-minded professionals, organizations, and advocates who share a dedication to improving the lives of at-risk youth.
