Empowered digital skill development and championed gender equity by mentoring 30 African middle school girls (15 per session) in computer literacy across Zambia, Northwest Africa, and Zimbabwe. Designed and facilitated 5 interactive online workshops, successfully completing over 20 hours of instruction. Provided real-time support via WhatsApp, addressing more than 60 technical queries and ensuring consistent participation throughout the program. Enabled participants to complete 100% of assigned tutorials, with several attendees expressing interest in pursuing further STEM education opportunities. Directed Alzheimer’s research on two microglial genes associated with disease progression, utilizing advanced knockdown techniques and RNA sequencing under Dr. Mamunur Rashid. Produced a 20-page research paper submitted to the 2024 Regeneron Westchester Science & Engineering Fair. As the member of the program, helped found and lead the annual Brewster High School Science Research Symposium, overseeing 45 participants and presenting findings to an audience of 100+ at the symposium and participating in local science competitions. Championed program growth by mentoring 10+ students, elevating participation in regional research initiatives, and fostering a legacy of scientific excellence.

American biotechnology research company. Altos Labs' goal is to develop life extension therapies that can halt or reverse the human aging process. Led advanced research the role of cell adhesion in sarcomere production in human cardiomyocytes under Dr. Mac Castro’s mentorship. Conducted comparative analysis on the maturation status of 8 sarcomere cell types using FIJI imaging software, analyzing over 500 data points to identify trends in cardiac development. Presented results to an audience of 100+ at the Symposium, advancing cardiac disease research initiatives. Alongside this work, reviewed and synthesized findings from 5+ peer-reviewed studies on Aducanumab’s effects on early Alzheimer’s progression, contributing to a comprehensive page report.
