About Cornell Engineering World Health Student Project Team

Founded in 2012, Cornell EWH is a multi-disciplinary team with students in electrical, mechanical, biological, biomedical, and chemical engineering, as well as computer science, global health, policy affairs and management, applied economics and management, operations research, and information science. The project team is comprised of four subteams: Integrative Design, Electrical, Software, and Business. The subteams pursue various projects and external collaborations to design, implement, and consult low-cost solutions for global health, medical, and health technology issues. While gaining technical skills ranging from CADing and machining to designing analog circuits, members of EWH also gain valuable skills in project management, product design, and cross-functional collaboration.
