As a part of the deal advisory vertical of PwC, I was involved in providing transaction advisory services to private equity houses and strategic investors for evaluating risks and opportunities with respect to their proposed mergers, acquisitions, investments and carve outs. I was part of over 10 cross border transactions across industries such as manufacturing, real estate, oil & gas, electric automobile, and hospitality. An indicative list of responsibilities include-1) Conducting diligence discussions with various parties throughout the M&A process including clients, sellers, management teams and other advisors2) Preparing and delivering customized financial diligence reports summarizing key diligence findings based on rigorous analysis of the historical financial statements, trend analysis, and business understanding from the ground level.3) Identifying adjustments related to EBITDA, net debt and working capital to arrive at the fair valuation.4) Identifying debt and debt-like as well as other items affecting future cash flows.
