Main Duties / Responsibilities / Areas of Expertise:1. To negotiate price, payment terms, and other terms and conditions with suppliers / manufacturers / vendors for import / procure / purchase of different commodities.2. To watch international & local markets as well as keep in view demand and supply gap to negotiate prices with supplier smartly, especially for those commodities that are booked half yearly or quarterly in bulk quantity.3. To follow-up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of materials for smooth supply on the other hand also make sure about the documentation especially for custom purpose to avoid any penalty and extra charges. 4. To ensure all orders are being processed and delivered as per schedules.5. To manage and monitor the performance of suppliers / shipping agents via timely clearance of goods; identifies shipping agents that are suitable and cost effective.6. To work on new source & items development, ask samples from suppliers for approval purposes, then arrange trial batch quantities after approval of sample (after passing stability process which is around 6months).7. Offer / quotation calculations (landed cost) and making comparison sheet to make the decision.8. Corresponding with suppliers regarding deliveries, samples, shortages and rejections, prepare delivery schedules as per requirement.9. In case of any rejection of materials / quality issues, coordinate with quality control department and make proper report and send to the vendor / supplier for replacement.10. Handle and coordinate all issues / matter related to import / purchase department from establishing of L/C to shifting of goods at ware-house.11. Co-ordination with banks, clearing agents, custom authorities (including hearing), suppliers, clients & other parties involved in business transactions.12. To check / updates custom SRO, sales tax SRO & SRB SRO & SBP rules for any changes made by Govt. authorities to follow all rules and regulation accordingly.

To fulfill the requirement of commercial / purchase department and to meet as per their specification the material which they required. 3. Establishing Letter of Credit, Bank Contract, Bank Guarantees…etc.4. Arranging Insurance Policy for import. 5. Sourcing new supplier / vendors, as per requirement of purchase department. 6. Coordinate with clearing agent and all parties which are involved in import transaction.7. To participate & visit related exhibitions. 8. To communicate & negotiate with vendors / foreigner suppliers to get right material at right time with competitive price.9. Verification of suppliers / customers contracts in accordance with terms & conditions, answering of various queries of management, suppliers & other issues.10. Coordinate with finance / accounts departments for releasing payment / dues of vendors, as well as for making pay orders for custom clearance purposes.
