Senior Project Manager
CurrentSenior Project Manager on the Strategic Initiatives Management Team managing multiple business system enhancement projects at CAISO. CAISO maintains reliability of one of the largest and most modern power grids in the world, and operates a transparent, accessible wholesale energy market. Responsible for multiple strategic project initiatives including necessary changes to help CAISO adapt to changes driven by a dynamic energy market and new renewable sources that include solar, wind, battery energy storage. The environment is a fast moving, highly complex environment driven by multiple federal, state, and public sector stakeholders. • Successfully managed six strategic initiatives driving system and operational changes to critical systems. • Built complex project plans in a Microsoft Project Server environment navigating resource constraints in a very busy release schedule. • Drove collaboration to resolve complex technical issues brought about by new renewable resource types. Contract role with Tek Systems.
