I call myself a curiosity-driven man who always seeks to understand how things work and strives to unearth the reasoning behind decision-making processes. My journey in software engineering began in high school, where I founded a club dedicated to programming and software engineering. This passion continued to flourish during my time at the University of Portland, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. Throughout my academic journey, I gained extensive experience in various programming languages such as Java, Python, C, CSS, HTML, Javascript and database systems like MySQL. I also delved into key concepts like Object-Oriented Programming, Algorithms, Embedded and Logic Design, Machine Learning and Database Management Systems. Collaborating on class projects provided valuable teamwork experience, allowing me to take on leadership roles when necessary. These experiences further enhanced my skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. I am also committed to continuous self-improvement as a software developer. I have recently earned my IBM Data Science Professional Certificate, and currently pursuing a Machine Learning Certificate also from IBM. Additionally, I actively engage in personal projects aligned with my interests in software engineering, embedded systems and data science. I am excited to leverage my skills and passion for data science as well as software engineering to drive impactful solutions.
