Designed and implemented studio wide systems to support the production of theatrical animated movies. Acted as final tier technical support on all studio issues. Investigated new technologies and methods to deliver technical and artistic advantages to the studio at a reasonable cost. Helped plan and execute the physical move of the studio into a new space with minimal disruption to projects in production. Designed and implemented the migration from a storage area network to a network attached storage infrastructure. Participated in company wide technology sharing initiatives and incorporated shared technology into the studio pipeline.

Lead and supported a team of technical professionals through a studio transition period. Maintained a high level of support for studio activities and ensured business continuity through multiple structural changes. Assisted employees in locating and transitioning to new opportunities. Maintained and supported a mixed technology network for the production of animated features and short form projects. Designed and implemented a pipeline that could support the animation production equivalent of one feature length movie per week. Managed the technical aspects of organizationally and physically separating division into two separate entities and provided a baseline technology infrastructure to each. Helped to plan and execute design of a new production space for the studio and move into that space while maintaining a full production schedule. Implemented an overhaul of the studio’s storage infrastructure from direct attached storage to a storage attached network.

Supported a large award-winning visual effects studio through a period of rapid expansion. Implemented systems to maximize the use of scarce and expensive computing resources. Greatly increased the size and capability of the render farm while minimizing downtime and business impact. Maintained a cutting-edge high performance network, both within the data center and to users' desktops. Introduced desktop computing technology and Linux to workstation based environment. Participated in testing and first-ever deployment of Autodesk’s Maya product. Provided second and third tier technical support for all studio issues.
